Project Description
More knowledge of lightness contrasts are needed when designing outdoor environments for visually impaired people. The aim of this project is to study whether delineators used in the pedestrian environment have sufficient lightness contrasts in order to be detected by visually impaired people. A specific aim is to examine how the width of the delineator implies the detection.

Timeline
The project started in 2009.
